Consumer Directed Care gives you flexibility and choice.

At Adelaide Quality Care, we are dedicated to a consumer-directed care approach, which means we prioritise collaborating closely with our clients and their families. This approach ensures that our clients have a say in the services they would like to receive, empowering them to make decisions about their care that best align with their needs, preferences, and goals. We believe in fostering open communication and actively involving our clients and their families in every step of the care planning process.

It’s your home, your choice, our care!

Home care Packages

The Australian Government provides four levels of support

  • Home Care Level 1 – basic care needs

  • Home Care Level 2 – low level care needs

  • Home Care Level 3 – intermediate care needs

  • Home Care Level 4 – high care needs

 

There is a formal assessment process to determine what level of care and support you require. You will need to register through My Aged Care which you can do by phoning 1800 200 422 or visiting their website www.myagedcare.gov.au

If navigating through phone calls or the internet feels overwhelming, we're here to assist you with the registration process. Simply reach out to us at 1800 870 099, and we'll schedule a convenient time to provide in-person support. Once the formal assessment is complete, you'll be placed on a waiting list and assigned an appropriate level package.

How you utilise the funds in your package is entirely your decision. Whether you require assistance with your daily living activities or if you need specialised nursing support, we can support you. One of our care coordinators will sit down with you and talk through what your needs are, to keep you safe and happy in the comfort of your own home.

Post operative support

At Adelaide Quality Care we understand that the road to recovery after an operation can be challenging, which is why we are here to provide compassionate and comprehensive post-operative support in the comfort of your own home. NDIS support

Adelaide Quality Care offers diverse support services to individuals approved for assistance through the National Disability Insurance Scheme. General help

Welcome to Adelaide Quality Care's General Help support. We understand that not everyone qualifies for government-funded support, but that doesn't mean you have to navigate challenges alone. We offer personalised assistance and support to self-funded individuals who may not meet the criteria for a Home Care Package or NDIS funding. Even if you're not eligible for subsidised services,

our compassionate team is here to provide the help you need. Whether you require assistance with daily living activities, personal care, or simply seek companionship, we're dedicated to enhancing your quality of life.

Palliative care

Many people’s focus changes when it’s time for Palliative Care Services. Often there’s a crystallisation of how exactly you want that care to be. Quite often you realise that you wish to be surrounded by the people you love and in an environment you are familiar with. At Adelaide Quality Care we have a team of qualified nursing staff that have been trained specifically in the field of palliative care. We will come into your home and assist you and your family or carers with your entire palliative care needs. Personal care

This service includes assistance with personal activities such as showering, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing, ensuring the maintenance of good personal hygiene. It also includes medication and continence management.

Medical assistance

Medical assistance

We provide comprehensive nursing services in the comfort of your home, offering expertise in wound care, dressings and bandages, pain management, injections and general health assistance and assessments.

Transport

Transport

We provide transport to get you out and about. This includes assistance with shopping and visits to health practitioners. We also support you to get into the community to attend social activities or to attend family events.

Social support

Social support

This service ensures your engagement in social activities, whether within the confines of your home or outside. You have the flexibility to opt for a walk, enjoy lunch outings, savor a cup of coffee in the comfort of your own space, or participate in social gatherings and community events.

Shopping

Shopping

We will assist you in doing your shopping (groceries, clothes) and support you in paying bills or banking. We are hoping to do this together with you, but are happy to shop for you if you are too unwell.

Meal preparation

Meal preparation

This service includes assistance with planning and preparing meals (including special diets for health, religious, cultural or other reasons). We can also assist you in using eating utensils and assist you with feeding.

Cleaning

Cleaning

We provide support around your house to ensure that you are living in a clean and tidy environment. This includes cleaning the kitchen, bathroom and floors, changing sheets, doing the laundry and support you with ironing.

Gardening

Gardening

Our dedicated team of gardeners will ensure your garden looks fantastic! We provide assistance with weeding, pruning, lawn mowing, planting, and all other tasks necessary to maintain a tidy and beautiful garden space.

Home Maintenance Services

Home Maintenance Services

We can assist you with general household repairs and home maintenance to keep your home safe and comfortable.

Hello, my name is Susan Paltridge and I am the founder of Adelaide Quality Care. I have worked within the health industry for over 30 years and I’m extremely passionate about the level and quality of the service that every care recipient should be receiving. Understanding that everyone is an individual and treating each person with the same level of care and respect that I would expect my parents to receive is a simple, but integral belief in the care we provide. Taking time to understand your individual needs and building long-term relationships is central to our success.
